Apply for Scholarships
Funds collected will be used to directly offset registration fees for Deaf & hard of hearing participants from marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities, ensuring they can access the transformative experience of our Nature Retreats.
The reduced registration fee for the retreat varies from $400-$500 per participant (depending on length of days) and does not include travel expenses to/from the retreat site.
Qualifications:
​All scholarship applicants will be interviewed and selected based on their dedication to connecting their communities to Nature:

Show how you have been actively engaged in your community- and how you can bring more Nature to these communities.

What is your relationship with Nature like? Share with us how you've connected with Nature and how you intende to share the same awareness and appreciation with others.

Set up your own GoFundMe and create a video explaining to your community how to sponsor you. I've done a similar thing for my birthday. Click on this video to see an example of how Summer asked for funding. ​

Organization Sponsor:

Are you a member of a not-for-profit organization that could sponsor you in attending our Retreats? You could share with them this list why they should sponsor you.​

Vocational Rehabiltation:

Some VR counselors support this if you are able to show how this retreat will support your career. Use this letter to show your VR.

Other Fundraising Tips:

There are other ways to collect funding- host a bake sale, car wash, garage sales. Be creative! We appreciate your effort and hard work!
