About the Event

Want to de-stress and recharge in the woods? Want to learn ways you can stay connected & balanced in your lives? Forest & Nature Therapy helps you do that, and more!

🌲✨

Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, Forest Bathing has been scientifically proven to boost immune strength, reduce stress, and improve cognitive functioning. But beyond these physiological changes, Forest Bathing also offers us the opportunity to deepen our relationship with the natural world. By slowing down and carefully observing with all our senses, we may begin to notice incredible things that may have eluded us for our whole lives. In escaping the rapid pace of our daily routines, we may find unparalleled beauty in the moment and in doing so, relax into the beauty all around us.

🌲✨

Come experience Forest Bathing in with a certified Forest & Nature Therapy guide, in American Sign Language!

What the experience will be like:

Once we all are gathered, we begin with breathing techniques, slow "waking up" our senses and connect with our bodies. You will have the opportunity to learn a bit about "Forest Bathing" and what it involves. We will embark on a slow paced and silent Forest walk, with some guided activities to help deepen your connection with Nature. We will end the walk with a tea ceremony, sipping locally harvested tea by candlelight.

We will meet at the parking lot before the trail, more detailed information as what to bring and prepare for will be sent via email after registering.

FYI- During the week, I’ll be available for one-on-one & couples/partnered sessions at a location agreed upon. To learn more about the different kind of sessions, check out my Bookings page on my website.
